Founded by Vincent, Menuu brings warm, Indonesian-style comfort food to Taman Sea (SS2) in Petaling Jaya, with one simple purpose: to serve honest food with warmth, character and real care—right here in the Klang Valley.

For us, food is never just something placed on the table. It is how families gather, friendships grow and everyday moments become memories.
Our story began with the dishes closest to our hearts: springy Mie Ayam, comforting bowls of Bakso, rich Soto Betawi, satisfying rice meals and the small snacks people happily share around the table.
These are not dishes created to follow a trend. They are the flavours we know, love and serve with pride every day.
At Menuu, we want every meal to carry a little piece of that feeling—lively, generous, familiar and full of soul.

One founder, one honest vision.
For Vincent, Menuu is more than a restaurant. It is a way of sharing the food he loves with his community in Petaling Jaya.
His passion comes from the food culture of Indonesia, where recipes are filled with history, family traditions and regional character. He wanted to create one honest place in the Klang Valley—somewhere neighbours could enjoy authentic, Indonesian-style comfort food in an approachable and welcoming way.
Every dish served is part of that vision: keeping the flavours authentic while making every guest feel at home.

A home that already felt familiar.
Petaling Jaya was a natural place for Menuu to begin.
Malaysia and Indonesia are close neighbours, connected by generations of shared culture, familiar ingredients and a deep love for food. Our languages carry similar words. Our kitchens use many of the same spices. Our tables are often filled with rice, sambal, soups, grilled dishes and food made for sharing.
Yet every recipe still has its own personality.
That is what makes the Klang Valley so special to us. It is familiar enough to feel like home, yet diverse enough to inspire something new every day.
We love this corner of PJ for its energy, its multicultural communities and the way people from different backgrounds come together over one table. It is a place that appreciates bold flavours, honest cooking and meals served with heart.
